Probably not, but not decided yet. I find that I'd rather just hang out with Lee than try to learn stuff. Everyone is so far beyond my playing knowledge that I rarely get anything out of asking questions about playing.
Beyond my knowledge too. I'm basically doing it for the 'Bass hang.' I'm having quite the year, so I think I deserve it.
I bought that orange bass a few years back, and I'm going to buy another one here in a month or so.
The look of it brought me in, but that it played as well as it did made me buy it. Stock it sounded something like a vintage p bass, growly but warm.
I play with flats and wanted it to cut through the mix more without being too thin and treble heavy, so I installed a SD quarter pound pickup. I have 6 basses and this is usually the go to.
The only maintenance it needs is a truss rod adjustment twice a year, (winter and summer). That's saying a lot because it travels in a van quite a bit.
Great bass, especially for the price
I think I might be OCD. I still have the tag and protective wraps on my bass a year after getting it...and I play it almost everyday!

Just kidding, of course, but I did try restringing my bass so all of the tuners lined up the same on my first bass I got. I like things symmetrical. Don't even start about how to load a dishwasher correctly....

Fixed it for ya, beni. I have connected my R500c to my Bm115 cab for the full 500 watts, and it was totally awesome.But, then, I realized that chaining the R500c to the BM500/115 rig gave me up to 700 watts!!
I tried it at a couple outdoor gigs and it was such overkill. (shucks)
G'dog, you have laid down the gauntlet. Is there anyone reading my post who thinks they can surpass Pup's rig? Not I, said the pirate. Not even saying you'd have to play through it, but the rig has to be able to be hooked up and working. Calling the doctor...Doc Intrepid...can you top this monster?
I exposed my belly when I first saw it I was so scared. I'm feeling better now, though.

gigetto, I thought you were rocking your Markbass combo? What's up? You're not thinking of doing something crazy like adding yet another amp...huh? I agree with Red, go the Phil jones route, and buy something that doesn't need to be plugged into a computer to sound fantastic. I know I say that as an owner of a modeler, but I'd give it serious thought before taking the plunge.
In an effort to both support Guitar Center and get a bass amp greater than 25 watts, I placed an order for the Fender Rumble Stage 800 on May 25th. It took awhile, but it was finally delivered yesterday! I gotta say, it was worth the wait and every penny.

Danthion, you are so welcome to join our humble little club, we'd love to have you! I'm so happy you made the decision to purchase something larger than 25 watts. That setup will do you well for many a moon. I love that blacked-out look of your Warwick too. If the Stage is also your main practice amp, might I recommend buying (or making if you're a crafter) a wedge, like the On-stage that I attached. Twenty buckeroos and it works great at propping the amp up closer to your ear.

Well, if my dream of being able to find some folks to play with again ever happens, I may need to add a Rumble to my gear list. Until then, I'm having a hard time justifying any more gear.
I'll pretend you never said this. Why? Because what's that make me look like? My gear-justifier switch broke off years ago and I just run with it. As far as your possible Rumble purchase, with the kind of music you like and play (me too!) then a 100c would be perfect for practice and small gigs and a 200c for the larger stuff. That's it. Toss a pedal into the mix if you want, but if you're playing roots and fifths while holding down the rhythm section, you're good to go. Neat huh?
Now if you want a tube or modeling amp...

That being said, as a former drummer, I thought to be really cool you needed a set like Neil Peart's rig, but after a little (okay, a lot) maturity set in I found a smaller, Charlie Watts-like set was just as much fun and expressive depending on the type of music you played. I'm more on the fence playing bass. After spending a week or so with the PJB, I thoroughly enjoyed it's tone regardless of the size. This week is the Vox combo and I'm looking forward to its Nutube tone. Still nothing as tall as me, but loved just the same.
M, check out this vid in case you haven't seen it yet. I believe here's the prescription to what ails ya as long as you're sitting down playing! But listen to what Glenn says about big vs. small rigs...

I put my monster Carvin 18" cab on the bottom, stacked a Hartke 410 Transporter on top, then a Hartke 210 XL on top of that and perched my Hartke 7000 amp waaayyyy at the tippy top. It looked delushiss. Sounded like thunder too. Alas, in the end, I sent the 210 back and took the rest of the rig to the band house. Played it maybe 4 times in that configuration when we were rehearsing for a wedding. Only took the 410 and amp to the wedding gig. After that, I don't think the Tower of Sauron has been set up again.
