The Combo Club

In an effort to both support Guitar Center and get a bass amp greater than 25 watts, I placed an order for the Fender Rumble Stage 800 on May 25th. It took awhile, but it was finally delivered yesterday! I gotta say, it was worth the wait and every penny.

That's lovely, Dan! Welcome to TalkBass in general and the Combo Club in particular. Fearless Leader will be along shortly for your membership interview. Don't let "'ol scarface" intimidate you. He's a real sweetie underneath. Highly recommended.

Also recommended is that you post that pic in The Fender Rumble Club and join the Rumblers there. We've got some modeling wizards just dying to help with any questions you may have! ;)

To be honest I rarely play all of it at the same time. I use one b2 210 and a15 as back up. And both 15s are different. one is an 80's era ampeg 15, and the other is a 15 out of a 70's kustom which I built the cab myself to closely match the ampeg 15

Another B-2 is always welcome :hyper:
B-2 15" and svt 4x10 classic cab here

Congrats! Awesome amp acquisition - and your Warwick, well it's just beautiful! You are definitely now "geared up" for just about any situation.

Having been a member of the Rumble Club for some years, I’ve seen a lot of not-so-nice posts about Rumbles and those who use them, both inside the Rumble Club and elsewhere on TB. I’m happy to say that they have largely subsided.
I bow to your greater Rumble knowledge. Glad to hear that things are better now!

Edit: My main combo for a number of years was a little Gorilla. That got made fun of!

Fixed it for ya, beni. I have connected my R500c to my Bm115 cab for the full 500 watts, and it was totally awesome. But, then, I realized that chaining the R500c to the BM500/115 rig gave me up to 700 watts!! :woot: I tried it at a couple outdoor gigs and it was such overkill. (shucks)
That does seem like a tower of power! I'd expect a mighty rumbling indeed from such a majestic rig! This photo made me realize that I prefer my combos to have the knobs at the front for aesthetic reasons. It looks a bit more complete to my eyes. Not throwing any shade, just stating a personal visual observation.

My prediction is everyone at some point in their bass-playing lives will have owned at least one. Kinda like death and taxes...sooner or later it'll happen.

Well, if my dream of being able to find some folks to play with again ever happens, I may need to add a Rumble to my gear list. Until then, I'm having a hard time justifying any more gear.

I see you have a whole aesthetic look going there, and it looks stunning! Nice amp, nice bass, nice dresser!
