The Combo Club

D -1 for hand surgery. Yuck. Not sure I can handle one month plus without bass...

Just flying by after first day (and night) of parent conferences. I wish I had the energy to go play.

Recon, I’m sorry to hear you’re going on the shelf for the next month. Stop me if I sound like a teacher, but you could look at it like a 30-day bass boot camp where you listen to new genres of music, read Geddy Lee’s Big Bass Book, watch a few lessons on YouTube, order something fun that costs no more than $30 (a buck a day) and will go with your bass, and anything else you can do to pass the time away. Any other ideas, guys?

Oh yeah, and hang around the Combo Club!

I may sit down with the bass and work on left hand technique, but the right hand is definitely out. I’ll have a pin in my thumb for a month, minimum. Definitely will hang out and shoot the bull... er, breeze, with you guys. How’s school going so far?

I also have a Roland Street Cube EX.
I know it’s not specifically a bass combo though that’s what I use it for.

Nice rig! FL will be along to get you a number before too long.
Thank you!
I’m thinking about get another BA115 and daisy chaining them together and stacking them.

This would give me a 300 watt into two 15” stack or two separate 150 watt into one 15” combo amps. The wedge shape is awesome to use when there’s only one BA115.

For those who’ve been following along, my surgery is complete. Now the long road to recovery begins...

Well on you

Should you find yourself with little to do ... did you know Tom Lehrer released all his material to the public domain?

As songs, it's not as if there's a need to learn Stravinsky-level pieces. See who in the audience is listening, too. That old pigeon poisoner is 92 ...
