TMI, my friend, but I’m still willing to make the Kasino Run with ya. Hey, I think we’ve got us a brand new movie starring Burt Reynolds and Dom DeLouise, may they both Rest In Peace.

Other than a few of us, SR, I’ll bet hardly anyone remembers Laugh-in.
It's never been used, but like a lotta things, I'd rather have it and not need it than the other way 'round.

Well, now that you mention it ....
This is a portrait of me a couple of years ago when I'm unceremoniously dropped into rehab two days after bilateral knee replacements. As it's a given that at this point I require a wheelchair for the most mundane of tasks, my temporary residence is in the company of people even more elderly than I ....
The television channel in the rehab unit is selected by the therapist on duty. Weekdays it's some happy fluff. Actually it's all happy fluff. But one of them is an infomercial for a complete Laugh-In collection.
Do you remember Laugh-In? the PT asks, in full knowledge every guest at this hotel remembers Laugh-In. (They do test for cognitive function, and my rehab includes baking and frosting a cake.) Do you remember Laugh-In?

In my capacity as a young reporter, I am an invited guest in the home of Jo Anne Worley. She wishes to speak to me about one of her charitable endeavours, which is to say she wishes to see some press. I'm okay with that, because as jobs go it's not really one of the bad ones ...
