THIS is a covered bridge. “Emily’s Bridge” in Stowe, Vermont. Quaint, historic, and, (best of all)...Haunted.
I was terrorized on this bridge as a youngster! We would be up in Stowe for thanksgiving every year when I was a boy, and the tradition would be to drive slowly onto the bridge, turn the car and the lights off, and listen for Emily....yeah, my older brother and sister had a lot of fun with me!! :lock:
I think we drove our Midget over that bridge in 2013. Didn't hear any ghosts, but the car has a performance exhaust, so...

Well I got rid of my Rumble 500 combo today. I just couldn't make it sound good with my drop tuned P bass. As much as I disliked the Markbass JB combo I can't believe I ordered another Markbass combo again. This time I ordered the Markbass Mini CMD 151P. I was on sale at Guitar Center, so I figured why not. If the Bugera 15 sounds good, I'm willing to bet the MB will sound great as well.

That's too bad. A lot of people swear by their R500's but I have to admit, I have an R200 and do not drop tune. I am sure the FL will be by to provide more commentary when he gets out of school ;).

Yep, same band I was in at the time covered Mountain's Mississippi Queen.

Don't tell anyone, but I don't think I played my combo in that band.
Of course, I didn't have the 410 extension cabinet to pair with my GK combo, and that would probably have been enough. :D
Depending on how long ago there may not have been a combo that could cut it. 'Cept this, of course.

EDIT: (I still want this. I have no real use for it but that ain't stoppin' me from wanting it)

It was mid 90s. I had my tiny but mighty GK.

The pretty one, on the right. A might bit easier to move than the Monolith.
:D

Yeah I'm not saying it's a bad amp. With my E standard P bass it sounds great. I'm not using that bass in the band that I'm in though.

Well, it IS on offset, and being a P/J, it just made sense to with the big, Honkin’ F jazz cover- I’m looking at a modest P cover for this Talman. View attachment 4215663

Your Ibby looks real nice, '68. I'm a sucker for seafoam green. It makes me think of summer and mint chip ice cream or someone's bathroom tiles back in the 60s! Seriously, I'm a fan of that vibe.

Hey, that thumb rest looks just fine and is long enough to give you some latitude. Cool!
Yeah, it was nice. Really gave me a quick way to vary my tone. Unfortunately, just couldn't make peace with the '7ender' neck profile. Really a nice li'l ole bass-for someone else.

b90, you've become your own living soap opera. Next time, let us know before you post and I'll make everyone some popcorn! That combo might satisfy, but get ready for a raspy-sounding tweeter as that driver is usually the one that disappoints players most, especially if they are looking for smooth highs. That being said, my new MB has said tweeter and I'm not searching for cotton like I did with my CMD 121P. Please take a pic and post when you've got possession. I'll be interested in seeing it.

As bad as we'd love to make an ext. cab for ya, how about the club chips in for a salt & pepper set that resembles the Kasino pair? I'm sure Crate & Barrel would have them...
