Our band had a real good paying 1 hour gig at at a retirement community tonight. Nice place, pretty easy load in/out. Plenty of room on the stage. We could use smaller, easy to move amps and PA(in my case, my Rumble 40 is plenty for the room). Operative word: "had". 1, vaxed person tested positive so the gig was cancelled a few days ago.Break a leg! Although by the time you read this, I'm sure you'll already have played.

It was a fun night! I was the only musician there besides the house band, and they were kind enough to let me sit in for most of the night. They loved the 68 Hofner. I hope to go back soon!
Played an out door event today Noon to 4pm. Played a custom Aerodyne Fretless thru my Rumble 115 and 210 "mini stack" driven by an Eden WT400. Pure Heaven. Sorry forgot pictures I'm such a dork when it comes to that.
Raising pickups on Jazz having great effect. Backed down the neck a bit to eliminate a few “warblies” on the D/G string. Good string-string balance, and great full tone- warm. Bridge has a tad more bite than it did, but more importantly, it is playing well with the neck in a variety of combinations!
Just going into RB-115- SGT on 10:00, level to match output. EQ- Bass at 1:00, Mid 1:00, treble at center detent. No HI/LO switch used.
Compression and Mooer mini reverb pedal used.
I’ve had that Boss CS-3 for at least 25 years. It definitely best with MICRO adjustments—usuall betwee 11:30-12:30 gets you to where you want to be…great compressor!

When I got my 2020 Jazz from MF, it was a return, someone was drunk or dumb and had screwed the pickups all the way down. I mean, I could get a thumb in there. So I figured the foam was flattened(it was) and bought new Fender foams before I took it apart. New foam, adjusted up to spec made all the diff in the world. Maybe that's why it was returned. I dunno.
Don't beink so modest, Doc! Iss probably more likink you were first to play and were so good that other aspiring music-cans there said, "I can't follow that!" Wery likink unto every '60s rock festivals where Pete Townshend and everybodys else iss refusink to play after Hendrix!

We had a town “block party” which was just a band playing in the town common and some vendors. Unfortunately the bands PA was on the fritz. So we heard the bass, drums and most of the keys and about half the vocals. I have no idea what the guitars were doing but the bassist was solid.
