The CORT Club!!!

Got this cort bass a few weeks ago for pretty cheap. Can anyone help ID this thing? I haven't had any luck

The only thing I found is a similar bass, with a guy asking for what it is (in Link Removed on CortGuitarUSA forum) !

Yeah, I found that one a few days ago too. I'm not sure if I'll ever find out what this thing is. It's got a serial # hand etched into the truss rod cover and on the back of the headstock it has another number and "Made in Korea".

Any help would be appreciated, otherwise I'll just have to be happy with having an old axe that i'm pretty sure no one else has!

Hey everyone, I would like to be a member. I just picked up this A5 for my new gigging bass and I love it! Has a great B string, sounds good, light & comfortable and very narrow string spacing which I really was looking for since I play with a pick. Awesome bass!

Thanks! It's an '05 model with a light black stain on it...its a lot darker than others I have seen online.

Diggin' the O-ring knobs too! I swapped in some colored o-rings to help me remember the EQ....Low, Mid & High! It can get a little "confusing" after the alcohol begins flowing.

I have a couple of Yamaha 6-strings but still enjoy my NA-6 (2000 model). Those Bartolinis are brilliant even though they are mid ranged models and I simply gets my sound far easier than with my other basses.

Anybody know what the freqencies are for the Bartonlini 3- band eq?

If you don't mind me asking, did you buy it from an online store, or a local dealer? I want to be able to compare the A6 to the higher Ibanez BTB models, but I can't find the Corts anywhere.

seeing the Cort bass club fall back to page 12 on the forum just makes me sad...

Anyway, been playin alot on my new cort lately and i'm loving it...

Heres two sounds clips of the bass (i'm messing around alot, and i know alot of the stuff doesnt sound good) on some material i'm working on for my bands..

Ps. The bass is just plugged directly into the soundcard.. no amping, no nothing.. sounds way better through the amp...

The bass sounds awesome I'd say quite different from what I'm used to describe as "the usual Cort sound".

Anybody know anything about the Cort Performer Series? I bought this second hand and have no information whatsoever. How does it compare to modern entry-level basses?

also used to have a cort action 5 that i traded to get my hollow body.. i miss that thing
