It's pure signal destruction! Don't try to play anymore than 1 note at a time with it tho... it picks the first one and that's the only one you hear...My fuzz chain is now Electric Brown>Ruiner (Twin) >> Vintage Fuzz Master >> Swollen Pickle >> Copilot Oribt. Remind me NEVER to trun those all on at the same time!
Does she have any fuzzes that are synthy? Something like a mammoth I suppose.
Legend of Fuzz
I'd say the Legend of Fuzz/Bit, the Bass Fuzz/Supermassive Black Hole (if you can find one), the OK, and maybe even the 33/Silver Crank can all do gated/synthy tones. The OK has a weird stuttering decay, though, so its a bit different.
I'm not sure how it would compare to a mammoth, but I've gotten some synthy tones out of my VFM when combined with a chorus or flanger...

I was having trouble getting a 'sweet spot' with the supercollider blended in my bands mix,... as an experiment today I trialled the VFM and the hyperion in a loop of LS2 to simulate what I usually do to cut under the bottom the guitar mix,... VFM doesnt like buffers or active basses so wasnt much of a help there,... but !@#$#$% the hyperion just shined in the spot
of course will need to trial with drums and guitars but at the moment mmm im just on a crusade for more hyperion... MOARZ PLZ

My hyperion will be here next week with a voltage starve knob! Next will be a dark boost or ruiner. Still on the fence about that... Psyched for the hyperion!!
