I'm really starting to get GAS over the Hyperion from the sound clips I've heard.
For you guys who have one or have tried it, does it react much differently with active basses compared to passive and how distinct is it? Does it get indistinct when playing fast? I know fuzzes are meant for being fuzzy but I'm just curious on how it sounds specifically with bass. If I do pick one up and I don't like it with bass, I'll probably keep it for guitar work if the videos on Youtube are accurate![]()
I only have one passive bass which is alos fretless so that could be differing to a normal passive tone and have not actually tried it,... my two active basses (one with a low output and one with high) work very well with it, no weird attack or anything however they do sound different to the clips I've heard on talkbass and on youtube... keep in mind any part of my rig could make that change a bit tho!
It does get a bit indistinct when playing fast such as quick 16th's etc
I don't have any recording equipment atm so can't do clip's sorry!

Cool, thanks for the info, it's much appreciated
Just gotta keep telling myself that it would just be gravy and I don't need it![]()

lol I don't think it will help you that I used it for the first time at practice today and it WAS SO AWESOMEEEEEE
I mean,... it sucked,... badly... and thats why its staying on my band pedal board,... err... yeah....
doing a gig on the 28th of march with professional video recording so should be able to see what it sounds like then![]()

Oh if only you could bypass the feedback loop and still use the pedal in the loop on the Eye Of God.![]()

Yeah I read that thread. It made me sad to learn she wouldn't be making them with a bypass for the feedback.there was actually a thread on the devi forums where alot of people asked about this, she replied she may change it in future and that she never really used it that way as she purposefully had different setting for feedback loop pedals than what she would have used normally (if I remeber right...)
she said it could be done easily,... I'd like to know too as id very much prefer to have this option...

Also; a question I already asked on the DE forum but might as well do it here as well:
I finally got the funds to order my first twin pedal. I'm mainly going to use it for doom metal, and since the sound clips of the Never Drive sounded amazing I chose that as first pedal.
For the second one I was going to take a Dark Boost, to add some extra low end. But since a Ruiner is 2 DBs I'll probably go for that one. But isn't the Brass Wave Meat Blaster the same as the Ruiner? Or am I mistaken?
Thoughts? Suggestions?
