The last three numbers of a SN repeat every 1,000 guitars made per model. There are many guitars with SN's that end in 666 made every year for each Fender model of guitar, bass or just about any product. So what? Not exactly rare. Although, it would be a good bass to play "Superstition" with.
Let Perry, the bass player from Stryper play it. If all he can play is tri tones, then maybe there might be something to this overpriced gimmic.

Not wanting to take this I'm a religious direction (although it inherently is), but going from source material, 666 is not Satan's number. The passage it derives significance from clearly says it is man's number.
1) IOW it's just some dude.
2) you'd think the devil could get his whole mug on a one piece body, or at least not lop off his forehead.

Only $12K? ...uh when hell freezes over. No thanks. I'm also extremely disappointed it's not $12,666. 
If you are ever in Ohio........make sure that you take this "scenic route". (This is a real stretch of highway. It's for real)
