If you had posted "The earth is an oblate spheroid," you'd be listening to crickets.
This is a red bass. If I create a post saying "this is a blue guitar" and then dare others to tell me I'm wrong...well, I'll probably get what I want.
The Earth is spherical in shape, and it's a planet. I couldn't have been more correct.

No, the part that cracks me up is people putting words in my mouth. I never said the Earth is a perfect sphere.
A spherical thing is a sphere. A sphere is either perfectly spherical, or not a sphere. There's no such thing as an imperfect sphere.

You said the earth was "spherical" > Spherical means shaped like a "sphere" > by definition, a sphere is a perfectly round geometric object...the earth is not.
