It's time. He's starting to suffer. My scooter-pie has had a full pampered life. Going to see the Vet today to put him to rest. This photo, he was just a few years younger/healthier. He is a Himalayan pure bred.
You have my sympathy. My Norwegian forest cat I have had for 15 years died a few weeks ago. She was quite a cat.
Awe, I'm really sorry to hear that. My cat Max died a couple of weeks ago, so you have my condolences. It always sucks losing a beloved pet.
I had a total mutt/street/homeless version of that cat a few years ago, in black. Limped on the front left & right rear(or vice-versa; can't recall)& meowed w/a lisp: MEOWWWWF. Mr Fub. After nursing him through several life-threatening conditions, his kidneys shut down. Feelin for you. Love my kitties.
Peace to you and your kitty. I've been through that, and my 17-year-old kitty-girl will be headed down that same path before too long, I'm sure. Remember the joy that your feline pal brought you.
sorry to hear that.....my dog passed last week .....even though he lived longer than usual not having him around is going to take some getting used to.......he had been with me for 14 years and seen at least 40 states and 6 provinces.....if the drivers at work got uppity i used to remind them that my dog had more miles than most of them combined
Very sorry to hear this. My wife and I had to put our cat Ernie down on May 30th after over 19 years. He was the best, and even though we now have a new kitty ("Vinnie"), we still miss Ernie terribly.
I recently put an 8 year old cat that had idiopathic cystitis to sleep last month. I can identify. You get attached,...it's sad for sure.
Those are 2 of the cutest cat pics I have ever seen!!!!!!! It is an unsaid understanding when you let a little critter share your life that you will more than likely outlive it. Take solace in that you were the most important thing in the world to him and you blessed his life with a loving home My sincerest condolences brother.
