The end is here for my 13yr old kitty

People do not realize, that these pets are part of our families. When they go, a piece of you goes. I know he had a blessed existence with you, and was loved every second of the day. As the dog whisperer once said," They never leave us, and are always watching over us". Know that your friend is always with you, and loved her keepers immensely. So sorry your friend is not beside you now. When my labs go, they will have to bury me too.

You have my sincere sympathies. Both of my GF's cats are 13 as well, and one of them has spent the last three days at the vet's, because he just stopped eating. They've put a food tube in his neck so we can force-feed him a high-nutrient goo diet, but I have my doubts.

Oh man. It's soooo f-ing hard. I wish you the best. This really, really sucks.

So sad, you have my condolences. Have lost four cats over the years - one 18, one 16, 13 and 12 (last two brother & sister...) so I know what you're going thru. The hardest is when you hear someone say "why are they getting so upset? It was only an animal!" Well, I had those cats since they were kittens, for a heck of a lot of years, and in a way, they become your kids... "Fur kids" perhaps, but still, a vital, loving part of your family.

I'm so sorry BluesyCat! It's hard when our buddies have to leave us.
My kitty boy and kitty girl are getting up there. The boy is 17, but still doing well even tho he takes thyroid med.

Don't worry! Scooter will probably start screening applicants real soon. He'll find someone for ya - they always do! ;)

I feel the highest honor in life is to host and nurture another being!
You sound like a GREAT animal dad! :) please consider giving a home to another -- when you are ready, of course - no rush.
The world needs more care givers!
Bless ya, man!
