no pictures but i got a black ibanes fretless, no lines for 250 from music go round. iti s an ibanez sdgr with round wound great for jazz. 24 frets covers two octaves!

Not set up for pictures, but I do have a Carvin XB75PF made of KOA wood. It has flatwound strings which give it a sweet-mellow sound. It sound VERY upright when I use a Birdsong B-box. I haven't played many fretless basses,but this one is by far the best of the ones I tried...(at least for my style of music.)

Wow - if Cliff did "points" rather than "scrolls," I'd have to seriously consider. Maybe the next time I'm in Orlando (but who knows when that will be....).
As for me -
I have a fretless Brice V2 6 string (that I LOVE ever since putting a 3band Bart EQ in), a fretless Brice Prestige Z 6 string (that I just put tapewounds on - an Audere pre will be going into that) and an original 4 string MusicMan StingRay fretless (that, even though it's 30 years old, has never had a neck adjustment and plays and sounds awesome.
As for pics, check my myspace in the sig, and choose tune "Just Funkin Around." You'll see the v2 in action (and hear it on the fretless solo in the tune).

Count me in, if you're still open for new members. I've been playing fretless for a few years... still using my 2003 MIM Fender Jazz. I'm considering going to a used fretless Godin A5 (or Acoustibass), used Carvin AC50F or other comparable fretless semi-acoustic to use on Praise Team on Sunday AMs.
Should I hang onto my Fender for future upgrades (I've been eyeing the Norstrands and a Rothstein harness), or should I just sell it to help finance the semiacoustic? I have a 4-string fretted Schecter California Custom as well.

IMHO, don't get rid of the bass. I had to get rid of my gear, and I have dreaded it every single day of my life since then! And, a Fretless? If that is your voice, then hang on to it, if for no other reason that it will always feel and sound like an old friend.
Here's mine, one one the first 5-string Fbass. I bought it in high school. I was going for an Ibanez SoundGear but this one was last in a row of basses and guitars. I just saw the controls sticking out and I knew what ot was and ran in the store. Bought it, sold it a few years later (threesome involving cash and another bass) and re-bought it later while tree-planting in Saskatchewan. I sent 900$ cash wrapped in an enveloppe to my friend when I learned it was for sale.
The scale is a little shorter than 34". It sounds and plays great. And before anyone aks, yeah, the lower horn is made like that.

29, one more than the current models. There were a few buzzes on a couple of notes that I lived with for a long time. I finally brought it to a luthier for a fingerboard job. When I got it back, I felt unworthy of playing it. My luthier, who usually makes guitars (arch-top and classical) and repairs the usual "crappy" instrument was so impressed with the F-bass... he took pictures of himself working on it!

The Brice was an impulse Ebay buy...five string, fretless, under $200, who could say no? The CIJ Jazz Bass is one of my babies, a lot of fun to play. The Warwick Fortress is also a great player. Both the J-bass and the Warwick have Bartolinis, and sound really nice (IMO).

And this one's in the works, coming along slowly but surely. Warmoth body and neck, a nice greenish-blue-tealish color, flamed maple. Neck's goncalo (I believe) with a satine/bloodwood fingerboard. The red of the fingerboard contrasts very nicely with the body color. I've gotten Ultralites for the neck (they're on there)...bridge is on order, and next after that will be some Nordstrand pickups and an Audere preamp.
