well, we shipped out well over 100 today......so, I'm sending you positive vibes.

Seems like an amazing number of people have bought or have ordered a Shuttle and are posting about it here. I have not seen any other new product get this amount of attention with this number of people buying.

How many people bought one simply due to reading about it on TalkBass?

(Me, for one!)

It played a big part in me ordering one. Playing a 3.0-8T helped.

But I also did get a chance to try a 6.0 at my local music store before ordering.

Understandable.

I did the math, and did consider it.

However, for the final price difference, while i did work it out to be about £100 cheaper, I'd rather pay £100 more and have a warranty. Plus the guys at Bass Direct are good to deal with. I like keeping 'local' when I can.

I understand the 'keep it local' sentiment, however, for £320 (there wasn't a VAT charge) I just can't say no. More than £200 less than retail here is not an offer I can refuse. Thanks to Genz for the switchable 120/240v design

How did you manage to skimp the VAT?

If you recieved it, you may just not have had the VAT & Import bill yet. That happened to me before. Before I had to pay the VAT on the door before the courier handed the package over. Then one time, it didnt happen. About two months later, a nice letter came through for the VAT, Import and something else (i forget the name, but its just a few quid, not a percentage).

Of course, sometimes people are just lucky and manage to evade the system, but I dont have that luck

I ordered shuttle 6.0 on 4/5. Hoping to see it here in early may. I did get a cabinet though(neox 112t)....useless without the head.

I hope its as great as all these TB'ers say!!
