The GB shuttle waiting room

Apparently mine has shipped, although the UPS tracking number doesn't seem to work. Been a month of waiting now.

To the previous two posters from the UK, why wait until Bass Direct or anywhere else has them? Odering from the US is the way to go, even with VAT added you will pay less than retail here. There are quite a few on-line retailers with stock at the moment.

Just received my Shuttle 6.0 from Glenn at Bass Specialties yesterday afternoon. Great guy, and local Phila bass player! This amp sounds fantastic with all 4 cabs I have here. The Bergantino NV215, AE410, AE210, and Epi UL410(I). I still won't get to test it at a gig for another 2 weeks though.

Seems like an amazing number of people have bought or have ordered a Shuttle and are posting about it here. I have not seen any other new product get this amount of attention with this number of people buying.

How many people bought one simply due to reading about it on TalkBass?

(Me, for one!)

I ordered my Shuttle 6.0 & carry bag on March 10.

The initial lead-time quoted by the seller (and his responses to my weekly follow-up calls) was: "We should be getting them in next week."

The vendor called me  on Wednesday to say he expected to [actually] receive mine on April 14. By the time it gets here, it is very likely that six weeks will have elapsed.

Although there are probably small critters with shorter gestation periods, I'm willing to wait based upon all of the positive feedback here on TB :) What a great forum! :D
