The good/fast/cheap rule

I've gotten some pretty good service from Time Warner Cable. I had a billing error, I called them at 3 A.M. about it, actually spoke to a real person, and they gave me that month free.

My personal rule for costco is to not use a cart--i only buy what i can carry out by hand thereby managing to spend less than $100 otherwisse i'd have a year's worth of chicken pot pie & ice cream bars. And wine.

Have you seen the Judd Apatow produced series 'Undeclared'?
theres an episode where they visit a Costco-like warehouse store and return with surplus bulk items. One girl maxxed out her credit card buying hair dye, and she did even dye her hair.

I miss those days where you drove in to a servo, they checked your oil and water, cleaned your windscreen, check your tyre pressure, and you never had to leave the car. There's one place around here that still does it, and it's very popular, especially with women (women shouldn't have to pump their own gas, it's just not chivalrous).

I'm curious if you have longer hair or not. I've yet to go to a cost cutters sort of place and get a good haircut. Shaving a head and actually cutting hair are two very different things.

I have a standard businessman haircut, like Ronald Reagan. I consider it medium length, not short or long. I think for the standard man's haircut a good barbershop is better than any salon.

There's a thaï place near where I live that fits all three.

Good quality coffee can fit all three rules over here. Lots of local roasters.

If you buy stuff on sale I guess the "fast" aspect isn't fulfilled but you can get good & cheap.
