I don't like either of those basses. My preference is the SR400. I can't stand the jatoba/bubinga necks on the newer Ibanez basses. You might like them though, I don't know what your tastes are.Is the Ibanez SR 500, better than a Spector legend classic 4 string? How is that?
Depends on what tone you're after. I don't personally like the barts but most people prefer them.I've been playing on an Ibanez GSR 190 for 3 years
Any bass of Ibanez would seem better than that.
But I've read really favorable reviews for the SR 500. If not SR 500, how's the SR 600?
And do the pickups make a difference, because the SR 500's have bartolini's while the SR 400's have style sweepers.
