Ok. Finally got some pics.

BTW, my "little man" lamp is very old and not much to look at, but he has survived many moves, disasters, and ordeals, etc. and still keeps working.

I have an SR505 that I bought from Long and Mcquade two days after xmas last year. I got it for $300 used in 6.5-7/10 condition. There was a large spot above the B string that had been worn away right down to bare wood and has gotten worse since I got it. It also had all kinds of dings, dents and paint marks all over the body and a large, deep scratch across the side of the headstock.

I love it. It plays like a dream and sounds great. Along with my MIM Jazz bass I think I'm set for life. I can get any tone I can imagine from them (mostly the SR).

I don't have any pictures now. Can I still get a number?

Already have a number thanks to my 2009 SR500 with upgraded Bartolini Mk4 Cbc pups, sounds like a dream. But I was wondering if any of you guys can tell me about this bass. I think its a mid 90s 506 but Im not sure about its hardware and all that.. can anybody shed light? Its up for sale in my area:hyper:

Looks to be a 1995 SR506 TT with a light American maple body, 3 piece maple neck, rosewood board, pearl dots, die-cast bridge, gold hardware, Ibanez active pickups, and 2-band active eq.

Here's a link to the catalog page: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

I just inquired about a few Ibanez basses on GC's used gear section of their site.

I've been thinking of selling my SR405QM and using the money to get something closer to what I want.

I was interested in an SR505, since it's got a nice light mahogany body and a jatoba/bubinga neck which needs no finish. It's a dream to play.

GC only offered me $120, I'm hoping I can sell it for a bit more than that since they're going for $300 used most places. We'll see.

Its going for 400, fair price? I can't really afford new at the moment and I'd go used even if i could, itll be my first 6

I'd like to hear a few SR gurus chime in. The last three current model SR506 on ebay sold for $365, $380, and $427 shipped. So $400 for this one is?

I don't know how the 90's maple neck models hold their value compared to the jatoba/bubinga or wenge/bubinga neck, mahogany body models. If it's in really great shape and the electronics work without issue it's probably a "fair" price... but not a "great" price IMHO.

EH??? Six Hours ...
You must be riding a bicycle... LOL:D

It's exit 154 on I- 5 which means 165 miles from Tigard/Beaverton... I can get there in 2.5 hours....:ninja:
But then one MUST stop by Bass NW while in Seattle!
Otherwise one would not be a  :bassist:!!;)
I want to go to Bass NW some day.

It took 4 hours to get to puyallup. So I figure it'll take at least that long to get there.
