Ibanez RD300. It hasn't got much on all your Ibby's but its my first bass and I love it to death :)

It remains my favourite out of all the basses I've played

PS: It's a bit dirty, needs a clean :p

Very nice bass and photos taken from artistic angles. I particularly love the grain in the first picture. ;)

i would like to become the latest member of the Ibanez fan club with my new arrival which is an SR1006. I'll have the pictures up as soon as they upload onto Flickr but i would like a bit of help in the meantime -

this had been sitting in the shop for the best part of a year as I am in the shop every couple of months and saw it etc etc.

When i went in yesterday it had been reduced from £1200 to £600 as it was the last one (they're not going to be stocking Ibanez any more) Tried it and loved. Got it with a Levy's gig bag and a set of strings thrown in as well. :D

The confusion comes as the serial number on the back begins F98 which i have read from one of the other sites as being made in the Japan factory in 1998. it has the 4 controls with the vari mid Eq so the lower 2 knobs are concentric, effectively 4 controls in 2. it has the Mahogany body and 5 piece neck, oval shell style neck markers. it was a bit dusty from being there this length of time but the plastic was still covering the rear panel and the strings still sounded relatively new.

it certainly looks brand new although the 'pores' in the grain on both body and neck look very open which i am not sure is normal (if it had been rosewood, I would've had the lemon oil on it as soon as I got it)

Any ideas if this is perhaps NOS, maybe something that Ibanez had left over and shipped out slightly cheaper? :help:

I've only ever had one Ibanez before, a very standard soundgear fretless which was all black. I know I paid more than what i could've got a BTB406 for but the body and neck are so slim and it plays really well so i couldn't let it pass. ;)

Help :crying:

I've been searching the forums for the last hour trying to find out how to post the pictures full size rather than uploading the small thumbnails from my computer and can't find a thing.

I have the ones I want on Flickr, can anyone help me get these to appear here? :help:

muchas grazias

I havn't read a single thing on this post, I've only been looking at pictures and scrolling:cool: . But ya, does anyone have a picture of the SRX300 in moonshadow (silver). I just bought one and the dumbasses in the music store screwed up my order and got it in black (not a big fan of) and I have to wait another two weeks. But ya, anyone?

Thanks

P.S. Lot of beautiful basses on here everyone.
