Well thanks anyway ...the colored strings are something i'm giving a try on a few of my basses just to see.

Took some getting used to, but this bass goes from snarl to fat - right quick like!

It's the most beautiful Ibanez I've ever seen. The inlays are really nice.

I traded a 1996 Tobias Growler for it... Really liked playing the Tobias - hated the sound.

My first bass was an ibanez, great starting bass, but the thing is i defretted it, then suffered a case of alcohol induced food poisoning and puked all over it haha.

Any idea how much it costs to get a Naruto inscription on your bass like the guy that made the thread has?

And how much do those BTBs run anyways?




I LOVE Ibanez, I've got a Soundgear 4 stringer, it's black and it plays wonderfully. It's actually my main bass aside from my 6-string, and sometimes I downtune it just to use it instead of the 6.

i love my 2 ibanez's and wish my starter kit had been ibanez instead of squier. but i digress.

my 2nd bass was my SR 405 and i love it to pieces even if i don't treat it like that, but my main player right now is my ibanez SRX 390. great replacement for my stolen G&L l-2000. it fits better w/ my band aswell. hopefully it works w/ my recently ordered avatar 212 cabs once they arrive.

on the GAS list for basses? #1 just happens to be an SRX 700 in burst. love the way they feel.

The only price I could find for one with Zebrawood is $1500.

Mine cost me the Tobias which I got off Ebay for $600.

Shame they only offer this bass now in Black. This color is SOOOO nice! I got it for $600 of eBay with the hard case. Seller said he got it at a pawn shop and broke even. I think I came out ahead. It's going in next week for a pro set-up. I'm stoked!
