I thought the tone was there for the B-15 more than the Amplitube you were using. The SVT I wasn't quite buying, though. Sounds like they (or you) have a fondness for the ultra-hi switch, whereas I always set mine closest to the B-15 sound you got. That's my SVT sound...the B-15![]()
That's what you should always do no matter what amp or sim you use. And yes, it did sound a lot like an old SVT with the ultra-hi on.But the SVT Blue Line do sound like an SVT? I seldom try the SVT to sound like a B15, I like the B15 and the SVT both in their own way. I usually tend to set each up do sound like.... ME![]()

I'm not going to poop on Amplitube, though I must admit not caring for the B-15R sim. My favorite in that package was actually the 4 Pro. The CL does a good job as well. And a buddy of mine has the Hendrix package and the sounds he gets with a Strat are quite Hendrixy, too. But the B-15R sim just did nothing for me. The Jamup is more like what I hear from my B-15.
Very good to know, thanks Duke!!
Just saw a post on Positive Grid's Facebook page. They posted a screenshot of the next update. Get this: 3 stomp slots!!!
One thing I really wish they would fix is the tuner. We've all overlooked that because of our excitement, but the tuner in Jamup just isn't accurate.
I use TC Polytune usually, and it's no big deal to switch to it to tune because its super accurate. But if I tune in Jamup then check it against the Polytune, it's WAY off. Again, I don't care, but some might.
Btw Jimmy, do you never sleep?
