The Jext Telez Club

Also, are there any other buffer buster type products available?
Apparently not. I also found a DIYRE kit, already built, a couple of years ago. The makers website says that due to lack of interest they will not be restocking this kit. I like John Kallas' Buffer buster better, but they both do the trick.
I found this. Guitar Pickups Simulation
and I wouldn't be surprised if this is what JohnK referenced. I don't have the knowledge to verify this though.

I've got a White Pedal on my board, which is almost always on. I bought it simply because it was a great deal, and figured I could flip it for a bit of profit. I plugged into it to test, and never unplugged. I'm still searching for the perfect fuzz for me, but I have completely stopped looking for OD's. I can't see anything knocking this off my board. I currently have no pics to post, but one will follow shortly.

It looks unremarkable, albeit quite large, but sounds great. You know how you've got a sound in your head you're always looking for? This has the exact sound I had in my head. A happy coincidence.

Hello Jext folk,
I am seeking a new fuzz, hopefully a Jext Telez. I have a Spaceman Nebula and a Sovtek Big Muff Deluxe. Maybe a Dizzy Tone V5? White pedal? Something else? The Black Drone Wasp didn't work with my main bass. Heavy crushing fuzz, overdrive, gated- throw it at me. Thanks so much

I love the DizzyTone. I have a pedal board friendly V1 (less gated than original V1), a rehoused big box V5, and a big box V6. They all are excellent on bass. Someday I want to check out the White Pedal. I can't recall, but between the red knob and white knob versions, one is better on bass.

So does your Supercollider not overlap with your White Pedal? Different beasts or no?

The Supercollider is a Big Muff variant, and is very much a fuzz pedal. It can sound huge and doomy, or can do more traditional when using fingers. But, I find it doesn't take much to lose definition. The White Pedal on the other hand is very much an OD. Even with the gain at 11, still retains definition. It has a throaty quality to it that I like. It is also far more versatile in the sound you can get from it. Tone-wise, the SC is just varying flavours of the same general sound.
With the bass knob on the WP fully ccw it gives you the lofi AM radio sound. Considering there are dedicated pedals that do only that, it's a nice feature. With the bass knob fully cw, the bottom end is huge, but very tight and punchy.

That was a great reply. Thanks so much

Hello Jext Telez Club!! There is a White Pedal V2 for sale in my area and I want it! I see a few of you have them. Can anyone give a little more info on how they sound? What do they do to your low end? Does anyone have sound clips? I wasn't able to find a bass demo. I normally rely on advice from my fellow TB'ers and haven't been let down yet. But this pedal is rather pricey to roll the dice on. Any help is appreciated.

I have a V1, and there is no shortage of bottom end. It can be a tad bright, even with the treble fully CCW. Apparently they fixed that on V2. I say buy it immediately. I love mine.
