Please count me in! Currently playing a Fender MIJ '62 RI Jazz Bass from the early 90's, a Brice HXB-405 fretless, and a '97-'98 Fender American Standard Precision. The first is my go-to bass, and the second is for occasions when only the fretless sound and/or something way down on the low B will do. The P I just got as an experiment to try out with flats and compare to the J--bottom line is flats are not for me, and I'm going to sell the P and modify the J with a toggle between parallel/series wiring for P tone.

Welcome back Janus, and to help restart this thread, I am posting a pic of my new prized possession - my just acquired '98 Ibanez ATK305L bass, with a Trans-Black finish! These are very rare, and I've been looking for one for about three years now, and this one came up in of all places Dortmund, Germany. Was up on European eBay, and through a fellow Leftybassist.com member who lives in The Netherlands, and acted as my "agent", I was able to buy this. Took a month to finally get here to Hawaii... played it out last night for the first time, and it feels and sounds great! Here it is....

The mottled look on the back is the concrete reflecting off the finish - it's in very good condition!

Needless to say, I'm one Happy Camper!:smug:
