Thanks, man. I was one number shy of 64, like that Beatles song...

I am really proud of being a lone wolf (I like space and privacy... a lot!), despite the obvious lack of charm for the ladies (at least in my case, the "mysterious lone wolf charm" hasn't worked). People tend to mess less with us, or they care less about us which is kind of a relief. No real social pressure.

Seeming as the last performance I did was a one of piece for my orchestra (which I'm no longer with) and I haven't been with a band for 2 years. I might fit in her well.

I think I requested to do this before. I cannot remember.

May I join to please?

I too feel a little out the loop and trying to find my feet with the bass community. Always played for my own pleasure. Basses in the 80s and 90s, then guitar in the 2000s to recently. Just getting back into bass after years and feel like I know ZIP! So I am a little shy here lol!

Add me please. I've never been in a band, not sure I'd want to unless they were up for playing melodic lines and using counter melodies. The vast majority of the time I'm playing the only person who can hear it is me... because I play with headphones on for the way I feel when I play. I don't playbecause of what others think or want to hear.

Post rock sounds a lot like this. Check out "If these trees could talk". They do a lot of melodic stuff. They're one of my favorite bands right now.



Also, I'm kind of still a lone wolf even though I'm in a band. We mostly practice on our own and we email original tracks back and forth. I haven't rehearsed with them since mid January and I have a gig Saturday with no rehearsals between now and then :eek:
