This is the band who provided background vocals for the Partridge Family, along with David Cassidy and Shirley Jones.

This song (recorded later with Shirley Jones) was in the first episode. It's the song Danny played on a tape recorder to their future manager (Ruben Kincaid) inside the men's room while he was in the stall.
