I'm getting in on this thread. Loves my Shuttle 6.0 and 3.0-10T. Two of the most versatile, well thought out, useful, and wonderful sounding amps I've ever owned.

I had had a 6.0 2x10 that I loved and passed on to a friend.
If money was no object I get all the Genz gear I could find, but alas not so.

I'd have to get off my butt and go count, but I think I have two more bass amps (one an ML200) and the other a Neox. I might be missing one... Geetar amps I am pretty sure are three. Maybe...

The NeoPak has become a bit of a collectors item it seems. I get emails regularly about folks looking for them. That was certainly never the intent.

I have owned all the Shuttle and Shuttlemax heads at one time or another. My favorite head was the Shuttle 6.2, but since I use two 4 ohm cabs, the Shuttlemax 12.2 is my current Genz Benz head. I gather not too many of them were made, and I hardly ever see them talked about here on TB. Any of you Shuttlemax 12 users out there, let's start a group !

The ShuttleMax 12.2 was kind of a specialty amp in that it addressed those who needed to drive 2 x 4 ohm cabinets. The 9.2 addressed the average player better if 2 ohms capability was not necessary.

Do you remember any info about the 2-15 cab Genz Benz made back around 1993?

I bought a new one from the Phoenix Bass Place back around then, they had serveral more in stock at the time. The cab was square-shaped with the two 15's in diagonal locations, and it had a grey Ozite type covering. I thought it was a very cool sounding cab but I ended up trading it off when I got into playing SWR gear.

Do you remember the model# or anything else about these Genz Benz 2-15 cabs? I cant find any pics of mine, and haven't had any luck researching them on the net. Were they just a short production run made for sale at the Bass Place?

Being an SVT owner, I have a number of 4 ohm cabs, including two 210s. As such, the Neopak 3.5 modded to be 2 ohm capable was very appealing to me. I can bring that and one, or two 2x10s and it kills!

While it's sad we lost GB, every silver lining has a dark cloud. Now we have two solid companies that the sharp engineers are designing for.
