Definitely could happen. Great song! Meanwhile, I went out with this lady on Valentine's Day, and it inspired me to do some Atlanta Rhythm Section.
So I re-did this one. I didn't re-do the performance; just applied some compression. I think it made a huge difference. I did not keep the original up for comparison. It's still far from perfect, but to be honest, I'm pretty proud of it. I have never considered myself a "real" singer, and still don't, but I continue to get closer.
Why? is because it's a really great song, and it's right in my "sweet spot" range-wise.

Awesome. Impressive vocal range you've got going on there.
Just between you and me, I've always thought I kind of sucked. Suddenly, at 53 years old (almost 54!) I'm hitting it. Thanks for that suggestion. I really felt the song, and I'm ecstatic about it. It was one of my favorites when I was a very young man indeed.

I've not watched everything, but what I've seen is impressive. I used to enjoy the stuff you put up in your Dirty Lixx days, so it's good to see you back putting yourself out there. It's great to see someone who has the courage to submit themselves to the gaze of the public. Most people here (me included, obviously) wouldn't have the nerve.
If you're going to start doing requests ( double thumbs up for Billy Don't Be A Hero!) then how about a little Sweet (Ballroom Blitz) or Nazareth (My White Bicycle)?
I think you've got the range for both of those.

OK, so this one is absolutely insane. I just feel compelled to do these; no real reason I guess. I added a doubled octave down bass, and just gave it a heavier feel, but the same sleepy vocals as the original. (ish)
