Awesome.... I met Jared through Stephen Tanner of Harvey Milk and he's very cool. I really miss Kevin Rutmanis though!

I'd say Stag is my favorite. It's like the Melvins just cut loose and had fun with what they can do. New album is really great, too, and actually kinda reminds me of Stag in that sense.
But really, one of the most consistent bands around, which is pretty awesome considering how long they've been around

Actually, not sure about that, because they conflict with the Dead Weather and Jeff Beck. I like all three quite a bit. I'm thinking Jeff Beck, because he's the oldest.

Been stuck on the Melvins for over a year now. Can't believe I missed them for so many years. Houdini got me started then, Stoner witch, Senile Animal, Hostile ambient takeover just took it to another level. My fav song for now is "The Brain Center at Whipple's".

Listened to them a bit back in the day but got reintroduced with Senile Animal and from there my love was not only rekindled but permanently secured.
This. They came and played in my school lunch area once. It was funny none of these college kids even knew who they were.

I love me some Melvins. I plan on seeing them at the end of June with my roommate (who got volunteered to go) his girlfriend (who he volunteered to go) and my boss (who hasn't seen the melvins but has been a huge fan throughout the years). I honestly have high hopes for the show as I've wanted to see these guys for many years now. It's going to be at a nice small theater style venue up in Denver.
I got to say that my favorite albums are Houdini, Bullhead, Stag, The Bootlicker, and Nude With Boots. Not in that order though. I like em all at various times of the day. Just great kick ass stuff.
Right, but it looks like you're getting the four-piece version (buzzo & dale + Big Business=Big Belvins).
