I've posted pics covering the rest of my Lull family in the past, these are the ones I've bought in the last year or so that haven't made it into a picture until now.

Very nice Mark! How long have you had the PT4?
You also like white pearloid pickguards!

Yeah... that sounds about right!...and here she is. Bass was well kept but the neck was dry, so needed some humidity and an oiling of the fretboard. Took it apart and gave it a good cleaning and I think I'm in love...

Is the gold one in your avatar your fave, or a tribute to Mike's P?
It just gets better with each photograph! The JJP4's are new to me but make absolute perfect sense. I have a PJ4 with a Jazz neck, but as Mike made the nicest 1 3/4 width necks I've played I'd love to own a P4 along the lines of your CAR & gold ones if/when I can.I'll say right up front that Mike's basses are wonderful, and I play all of mine.
Here's a cobbled-together group pic of my current faves, the gold P4 is the one I've owned longest, I bought it used on TB. The CAR P4 arrived within a few years after that, Mike built it to my specs after we talked about what I wanted, and he completely nailed everything. Those two are the very best P basses I've ever played in my life! The gold JJP4 was a custom order from Mike, and I liked it so much I ordered the ash one. The blue V4 and pink sparkle PT4 were picked up used here on TB, wonderful basses.

Funnily enough that is my fave colour, and I too mostly end up with a colour I'm not as into! Though my trans blue PJ4 is pretty cool.I've always wanted a red bass, but I somehow end up with different colors. My favorite and long-time one and only go-to bass is a Sherwood Green Lull PJ4 (thank you Brad!). Not my favorite color, but I really connect with the feel and tone of that bass. And I have to admit that the color has grown on me. But all those red basses.... wow!

I hear you 100%. Love the look of that oneWell, you know you've found your bass when the feel of it makes you forget about the less-than-favorite color. It really has grown on me though. I'm not the greatest bass photographer, but here you go...
