One more pic... Love it this morning as much as I did when I put it away last night.

Whoa - Déjà vu. I could've sworn I just saw that pic in color on Mike Lull's twitter feed. I even remember thinking...I wonder if that's actually trans black.
My P4 is trans black with matching headstock and I absolutely love it - so beautifully done. Mike even added an ash veneer for me on the headstock so that the grain would match with the translucency.
At first I thought it was a little too dark...but on stage under big lights, the grain really comes out.

Mike puts the strap locks on all of em.
I am supposing they're not Schallers![]()

I'll do that. It's not like I have never changed out some strap pins before.
I have never actually used the Dunlops before. I am sure they're fine, I just have too many straps with the Schaller locks now that it doesn't make sense to have one bass with a different type now.
got my Lull with the J body/pickups and the P neck (from Rocket Music) a few weeks ago, meant for one particular band I play with. I had played it by myself, and thought very nice, but today got together with that band for the first time, and it was more like, wow! What a great sound in the mix. And it's a very ergonomic bass, both light and so easy to play.

Time to start saving up for my Lull PJ5 for my main band!
That is awesome Eadger
You have the nicest P bass...Im not a P kind of guy but love that one.![]()
I know they are doing my next one with Schallers and I'm in the same boat. Its probably not the best system...LOL but its the one I'm used to and have on all my straps.
Which pickups did you use?
