Greg @ Rocket Music let me know yesterday afternoon that my M5V is ready and will be shipped out on Monday. I asked them to "age" the olympic white so it has that vintage-vibe. So pumped. Hoping it sounds as good as my M4V.

(very) Aged Olympic white
RW
Bart pre
Reverse push-pull passive/active
Chrome cover over neck pickup

Just got my Mike Lull....Chubby (tele style guitar). Trans orange with trans orange headstock and bigsby, TV Jones pick ups.

I know I know this is a bass thread....but I was at NAMM looking for a good tele and I ran in to Mike's booth.

Hey guys,

How do you go about changing the pickup height on your TC5s? I tried loosening the screws to raise the neck pickup a bit but they were a bit harder to loosen than I'm used to with other basses, and once I loosened the screws a bit it didn't have any effect on the pickups at all.

I asked about a relic finish. Mike would have to outsource the job elsewhere but could color-match without difficulty. I sent him a picture of a bass I've always thought was the perfect shade of aged Olympic White and was told that it wouldn't be a problem to get it there.

If the bass finished in nitro originally or you decided relic it on Poly? Any upcharge for that?

Poly- didn't ask about the upcharge for the relic but I believe nitro sets you back $5-600, if Mike even still does it.

FYI...

Just as this is option that Mike offers and I actually prefer it.

I feel they play easier...Its something to consider if your going custom.

If you have a PT4 you've been thinking about selling, I'm in the market. I'd love an alder body and maple fret board, but I'm willing to consider other combinations. Let me know what you've got.
