Well they would be 18 mm spacing so I would contact the aguilar folks and ask because the housing might be different then their 19mm (if they do have different one). I know Nordstrand use a specific 18mm for Lulls.

Have you already heard these pickups A/B-ed against the Nordstrand?
I thought the Nordstrand was much fuller and bit more even then the aguilar a very noticeable difference IMHO.

Go to Aguilar's site, click on the specific pickup you are interested in, and on that page under "specs" there is a link that gives very specific dimensions. It was dead on for me when I swapped the 5JHCs into my Lakland last year.

I have no basis for comparison in the Nordstrands, but the Aguilar's I installed were more mid scooped, but had great clarity in the top end and a bigger bottom than the stock Laklands. But they still left me lacking something in the low mids. But they sang up high on the neck!

TJ I think we are hearing the same thing actually...The Nordstrands have distinct Low-Mid (hence fuller sounding) but yet so even across the board.

Tony, yeah that would explain it. I missed the beefy low mids that gave it body.

I do wonder how much the dual coil noiseless version of the jazz pickup played into it though.

GM Paul Said "5J,4J Series is not fits in Mike Lull. Our Aguilar pickups (Mike Lull Selling) is fits."

So, If you want to order Aguilar pickups, call to Mike!

I am not sure of that, But he just said "Yes Aguilar pickups fit in our basses. $200 for 5J set"
(I asked him about Fit size Aguilar pickups. Maybe Mike has Special size Aguilar pickups)

I have to say that my 2 M5V each with different pickups and pres cover so much ground for me its not funny...
Its making my want to sell all my 4 string Js that I have that are not Lulls.
