I have 3 lulls....no GAS other then more lulls....plus selling off my other non lulls for the newly ordered lull! When I look at the classifieds now I am really only looking for more lulls!

I was actually offered an older one for my 74 p bass. And after long long thought I decided against it. I don't like the B bridges they used to use.

I am really starting to like my TC4 with labella flex flats more and more. Really has a great tone!!

I had a beach gig on Saturday. Decided to leave the "coffee tables" at home and bring the P4.

You'll NEVER go wrong with a P4! :thumbsup:

Yeah I should be....

yeah all 4s....I just cant do 5s! it messes me up too much! 4s just feel way way more comfortable! plus theres really no use for a B string! unless you playing death metal! lol
I know Lulls B strings are way more articulate.....like the E string up high....but to me its just not worth having that string.

Nice...Glad to hear that you plan on coming.
5s are not for everyone, this is true.
I will be doing a little demo of GK and Lull gear @ the GTG with some background tracks and I hope I will be able show you how you can hear the low B in musical setting outside of death metal.

We are working out the detail but we should have some cool give always at the event as well...and the food...Well lets just say, its real good.

Not true, sir! See, that's the kind of "Low B" stereotypy we're trying to do away with! I've used the low B for many different genres in addition to Death Metal such as Modern Country, Gospel, Classic Rock, etc. That kind of hate-speech represents everything that's wrong with today's Global Bass Community and it must be stopped!! :mad:

I understand especially with how articulate the lull low strings are! For me though I have all my 4 string memories locked in and my muscle memory of songs. Having a couple more notes up high to me isn't worth the amount of times my muscle memory gets lost with the extra string and I hit a wrong note or get totally confused all together! Haha

It can take some work to get used to for sure BUT once you do-it actually makes it easier to play due to your hand/fretting positions....now I sometimes get confused when I go back to a 4!
I share your love of Lulls... P5 and PJ5 24 here.
