If you ve ever tried a t4 then you have an idea of the tone. This particular bass is alder which I think adds even more lows, maple neck for more snap and punch and rose wood fingerboard keeping things from getting too zingy. To my ears it's got the same bounce and bloom as my alder p4 but with more low mids if that's possible and a different top end... Lestrebble and it reacts strongly to differently cables ,leading me to think the pickup are rather high impedance. I'll post sound clips soon. When compared to a mahogany T4 it seemed to have more output as well for some reason.What a stunner! Can you post some sound clips? Has anyone here compared a 34" vs 35" lull 5,my PJ5 is a great bass but that 35" scale neck feels sooooo long to me, thinking it could be new bass time again!
