Fat Stacks are stacked humbucking pickups. Big Singles are single coils overwound with offset poles.

Then what do I have?

When I tried Tony's bass, I thought the Big Singles sounded like single coils but just MORE of it. A very good sounding pickup.

Good question. I think the Big Singles, Fat Stacks, and Big Splits all look the same (at least from the pics I've seen).

Yeah they do..... I have Fat Stacks. I really like them Real rich and brilliant full harmonic spectrum. Basically they sound like how I always wanted a P Bass pup to sound. I have been favoring the front pup just a tad and they sound amazing.

Was thinking Ash, Coral Pink, RW, White Pearloid.

Yeah they do..... I have Fat Stacks. I really like them Real rich and brilliant full harmonic spectrum. Basically they sound like how I always wanted a P Bass pup to sound. I have been favoring the front pup just a tad and they sound amazing.

I recently saw a bass online (a different builder) and I believe it had a Big Single in the bridge position and it was either a Fat Stack or Dual Coil (I can't remember which) in the neck position.

Get a 2-band Bart with active/passive tone.

Anyone know how the 'Brian Beller' signature is at all different from a standard M5?

Its not the best playing, and the bass is not as forward as I'd like, but this was recorded using my TC4 (now owned by armybass).

Almost went with coral on my V4 build. But went with shell pink. I think coral pink would be awesome .
