Don't be fooled by the brand on those amps; they've each got toroids the size of spare tires, banks of Toshiba output transformers, and enough capacitance to kill you. Twice.
This rig is actively crossed at 100hz and worth about 1,600 watts...RMS...conservatively.

I just gigged this rig last Saturday. The B1500 puts out 1,200 watts into that 4-ohm load (fEarful 15/6/1 and 12/6cube/1). This rig totally killed, and the amazing thing is that the price is a fraction of that of some of my other "mile high" rigs. :cool:

Imagine then, THAT - plus a fEarful 15sub cab underneath it all ; } ...Truthfully, I couldn't even use a portion of what mayhem was on tap.

Wow! :eek: That would be nuts! I was barely pushing that Carvin (well below noon on the volume knob), and it was really filling the place up! :bassist: :bassist: :bassist: :cool:

Wow! :eek: As impressive as that is, though, I can't ever imagine needing that much power. But then again, I am no role model when it comes to limiting oneself to only what you need... :rollno: :help:

SWR M2 Pre and Crest HD9 (Same as a CA9) 2000 watts mono bridged or 900 per side stereo. M-Pulse 600 for back up.

It May not be the biggest but definitely one of the heaviest to lift! Pretty heavy sounding too. My drummer enjoys his own personal 210 bass monitor powered by one side of the Crest! Additional cabs optional.

The Stewart World 2.1 has been my #1 gig amp for nearly a decade. I run it bridged - 2100 watts - with my rock band, because the guitard has deafened himself with his 100W Mesa Rectifier 4x12 rig.

My tone machine is the Reiner all tube preamp made by Talkbasser Jonathan Reiner (aka JGR). My cab is the Bergantino NV610... greatest cab ever made!
