Hey,
You're in LA, have you ever done anything with/for the LA Music Awards?
Just wondering, in November my band actually flew out to LA/Hollywood and played at the LA Music Awards Show. It was the most colossal cluster**** you could imagine. Just wondering if that is the LA way.
I'm not implying that you're "effed" up!!! Just wanted to ask someone who seems pretty grounded if that's just the way things work out there.

At the Victor Wooten show, Jospeh A. Wooten had a pretty extensive Theramin solo. Man, he plays it really well, but I thought my head was going to explode!
well actually at a local show, some guys incorperated the kazoo and rocked with it. Even the kazoo can rock. And there easy as hell too, some random audience member solod on it.

I like most instruments. I don't like some electric pianos, the the Rhodes (sp?) piano, it sounds too half-assed

I'm generally not a big fan of accordions, but I have heard trios that utilized them and it sounded very nice, blended in and fit the music very well.

How about:
1) an 'active electronics' bass that completely loses output, when you're two measures deep into a song, at a live show?
2) how about a 'borrowed bass' for the rest of the night, that sounds completely wrong in every way?
3) a keyboard that is transposed to the wrong key, when you lay into that first Hammond chord at the beginning of a song, at the same live show? (this one is my own fault
