I'm probably gonna get flamed, but For me it is The Fretless Bass played badly.
EXAMPLE:
I click on this clip every now and then just because It always gets a *** from my woman.

How about a Didgeridoo? Now, there is an annoying instrument.

I don't like it either...or anything acoustic (bass or guitar)for that matter...except piano...
don't hand me no upright bass either...too big, too intimidating...not sexy for me..the electric bass is a turn on for me...
I know those upright bassists are wanting to toss something at me...but hey, I have my preferences!
Chapman Stick even when played by Tony Levin. Somehow reminds me of hacky sack and I hate hacky sack.
+1! (Drums themselves are usually fine but..) Several times during gigs we've had a drunk guy come up and invite him self to one of our vacant djembe's and smack it for a minute or so off time or dig into the skin with his big rings. Hey man! they arent as cheap as u think!
I disagree, like everything mentioned it can be very cool, and alot of skill is required to play it well
Theremin. Many people own them, approximately one in 999,000 can actually make it sound decent.
badly played fretless instruments, a badly played violin is painful, and Brass at Football(soccer for you yanks

i think for me it is saxophone.. first it is really hard to play and it is really difficult to handle..
it is big and heavy, and you can't play it by just blowing it, for me it is really a best talent if you can play this..
and not all people can play this instrument..
that's the reason for me why it really one of the most annoying instrument...
