I agree. I like the saxophone, but I think it sounds awful in rock music. I also hate the harmonica at concert volume -- very painful!!

I can't realy say that there's an instument I find annoying, each one is special in it's own way. However I must say that distorted guitars are kind of annoying some times cos they're so common, but not that I don't like music with distorted guitars. I mean I like all kinds of rock. ...hmm do guitarists count as instuments?

banjo, acoustic guitar, fiddle, harmonica, sax (*** so sexy about them things, IDK), trumpet, bagpipes (sound like some out of tune thing from out of space), rubber band thingy-played with teeth a lot of old country back woods people played on the porch, and washboards...not crazy about steel guitar either...

the funny thing is I play and sing a lot of country music! lol! but doesn't mean I like some of the instruments used!

Most female vocals annoy me deep, deep inside. Poorly played flutes and oboes too. If you play a high pitched instrument, keep the volume low if you are not very good or I will hurt you very, very badly. Oh, and we can't forget cheesey 80's synth strings, trumpet, brass, clap, and choir sounds. They are guarenteed by the manufacturer to brutally murder the legitimacy of any music.
