An excellent idea, but that grill cloth fabric was in the "remnants" section, so there's no more of it!
It's for an 8" speaker right. I think I've an old tie laying around with the same pattern.
I am going to guess it has an 8" speaker. That amp looks like it belongs as an accessory to a western horse saddle. It has personality. Enjoy!

Awesome! Who says you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear? Looks like you just did! Also love mbelue's idea for a mini stack! Just a hint for "next time": using a razor knife to cut out excess vinyl on the inside corners would provide more room for the head to slide in/out. Maybe a crazy use of time and $, but still pretty cool! The handle is icing on the cake! Your choice of thread title was great...had to open it!

I wish it sounded better. But I think if I can get a new speaker, that should help immensely. Would it do any good to change any of the internal components?
