That would be great. Despite the power requirement the Phasor 2x is by far the best option right now for the Mutron phaser sound IMO. Plus the expression control that can be set differently for the 2 presets is very cool.

Quite curious about the MicroTron and Octavider. I wish they had some solid bass demos......I do hope to try these at some point. Also does anybody know of a solid recreation of their Phasor II from back in the day? I know @johnk_10 has made a few amazing clones, but anything else in the ballpark? Any word of the Mutron guys rereleasing that bad boy? I know they did the Bi-Phase, but that is a bit much for my phaser needs.
I don’t think the Johnk Phasor II Clone is that great. It’s a good Phasor but doesn’t sound much like the original (like the Mutron clones FWIW). mike Beigel made a revisited Phasor IIIx that like all the Mu-fx original reissues is a no holds barred take on the original design and is incredible.
The bi-phase hasn’t happened yet. That’s next. Then I bet a small box Phasor is somewhere down the line.
I'm still using the stock Tru-Tron setting. Think I slightly prefer that over the Mu-Tron setting.

Dear fellow (and fellowette) quackologists:
In the late 70's, Chris Squire recorded the song below using a Mutron III and an Eventide H3000 harmonizer. I used to own both of those units back when I played in a YES tribute band 20 years ago (in fact, we played the song below and we had a great time doing it!) But I sold that gear after our YES tribute band eventually broke up years later. Okay, wind the clock forward to today. Let's pretend for a moment that I was interested in playing that song again and getting that sound, and let's say that I wanted to use more recently manufactured gear instead of vintage gear. Clearly, I would get an Eventide H9 for the harmonizer component. That's not what I seek your opinion on. I seek your opinion as to which envelope follower you would recommend.

Mu-Fx Trutron?
HAZ Mutron III?
3Leaf Wonderlove Deluxe?

micro-tron III is amazing. I compared mine yesterday to the original Mutron III and amazingly enough I almost preferred the Microtron. I still need to try mine on the other preamp setting. Anyone remember which way they come stock?
I’ve tried everything else on your list other than the Proton and the Iron Ether (which people claim to be more Moog than Mutron). The Wonderlove didn’t do it for me at all.
Of those you've listed, the closest will be the Mu-Tron/Mu-Fx Micro-tron III and Tru-tron 3x. Both are pretty indistinguishable to the original if prehaps a teensy bit cleaner.
(@Mosfed the Micro-Tron comes stock in the Tru-Tron setting).
Of the rest, Q-Tron is actually pretty darn close, but is perhaps a little peakier. Another suggestion is the EHX Enigma Q-Balls which can also cop a Mu-Tron pretty well with a bit of tweaking (as well as doing some other more extreme stuff). 3Leaf Proton is meant to be Mu-Tron based but I personally don't think it sounds much like one, and I wasn't a huge fan. The Wonderlove is more based on a Lovetone Meatball and so is different sounding.
Not tried the Haz Mu-Tron, but it is a different circuit to the original and meant to sound less juicy (but it sounds good to my ears on the YouTube demo's).
Iron Ether Xerograph Deluxe is more on the synthy sweeps side of filtering similar to a Moog MF-101 LPF, Chunk Systems 00Funk or Frostwave Funk-a-Duck. All quite different from a Mu-Tron IMHO.
