It probably uses the same PCB everyone is using. It's not a perfect sounding clone IMHO.
None of the clones I have heard sound right.

Hey @Mosfed, does the Micro Tron nail the sounds of the original and Tru-Tron in your opinion?None of the clones I have heard sound right.
Agreed. The makers talk a good game, but the clones, IME, are usually too peaky, and never get the attack/decay right. They also don't have that classic Mu-Tron III drive. The ones I've tried tend to be more Q-Tron than Mu-Tron.None of the clones I have heard sound right.
I have tried everything it does it even plugged into a 9v powered mini Marshall that should rule out any power supply issues I do live in an old house with older electrics but I don't think that is the issue. Luckily it doesn't really bother me but would nice to have the issue resolved. This is a problem from my understanding they haven’t figured out yet. Have you triedto plug it in by itself maybe with a different amp maybe in another place lol im courious if bu some wierd chance that solves the problem that maybe it does not like certain setups/locations. It works fine for me.
It looks like the same just rebranded as a Mu-Tron according to those listed on Reverb.so there will be a new revision of the Micro-Tron III this year?
Yup
That is so badass. I wonder what the price will be.
SICK
Yes. Mike B got the name back!! WooHOO!It looks like the same just rebranded as a Mu-Tron according to those listed on Reverb.
I wonder if that means that Haz Labs can't make the Mu-Tron III+ anymore under that name?Yes. Mike B got the name back!! WooHOO!
I think "Haz-Mat" would make a great name for a pedal!I wonder if that means that Haz Labs can't make the Mu-Tron III+ anymore under that name?
I want a mini Mu Octave divider
Nice i think you will like it.And... I've got a Micro-Tron iii on the way!![]()
Yeah, that would be cool. I could get behind any reissue like that.
