Bowing out of this thread for now. I ended up going Wonderlove Deluxe. Other than digging the sounds I'm hearing, the effects loop is huge for me, as I like the OC2/You're Doom into filters as much as for straight funk. I like not needing to change settings drastically depending on how I'm using it, and I appreciated that with the v1 Wonderlove I used to own. I also remember the up/down changing being much easier to shift between on the fly compared to some other pedals (I haven't played a Microtron) And, I know it's not a popular pedal, but as a super wet (whistly) kind of filter, I really like my Bassballs clone, the Mooer Sweeper. It's not for everything, but I'll be able to leave that dialed into it's sweet spot for another flavor.
Edit: I did talk to Taylor at Iron Ether about a cool workaround for an effects loop on the Xerograph Deluxe if you don't need the expression input. Cool.
