Due to a low pass filter whose 'knee' is set at a comparatively lower frequency?
I'm guessing the zoom b2.1u has the lower frequency, but I'm not quite sure about that. I have recently recorded sound samples of the digitech bp355 and I will be recording more sound samples of it real soon. so I'll let you be the judge by checking out the sound samples that I've recorded. here's the link.

Thank you for making the time to record and upload these sound clips. Both units sound like they'd be worth auditioning with one's own bass and some familiar 'phones.
Can both units do a straight up SVT/8x10 tone? If so then I'd expect that to be the real contest for many players.
Crystalman,
Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. I really like the samples. How are you enjoying the BP so far? Have you found any quirks in the unit you don't like?
Thanks Again.

That wasn't a little mouth for war by Pantera on that Distortion and Chorus was it? Sounded really awesome, I really dig the Wah effect you were doing too. Great clips.![]()
Ah! A little Man in the Box on those SVT clips! Awesome!
