Scoreless after 1. Guess we didn't miss anything while we were out for a walk after dinner tonight.

Loved JR pregame with what he asid he'd do with the guys out drinking at 4AM before a big game. Send them back to wherever they came from and let someone that wanted to try and win the Cup take their place for the remainder!

Ovechkin has been on the ice a bit more and has been hitting a bunch. Rangers started putting Staal/Girardi out together to get bigger hits in there and keep the Caps subdued.

I think they said Ovechkin played a little over 7 minutes in the first. There's been a number of decent chances on both sides... might be a matter of who breaks through first.

At least for this game, there's been a lot of continuous play without many penalties so they have to get the commercials in when they can.

Is it just me or was a Caps player (maybe Alzner) covering the puck with his hand in front of Holtby at the end of the 3rd there :hmm:

Rangers were terrible in overtimes against Ottawa - lost two of them, both pretty early into it. Not feeling too good about this.

Everyone's probably snoozing right now, but I just cheered my ass off and then collapsed in a pool of sweat. Officially bed time now after Gaborik finally buried one. Only took 115 minutes of gameplay to end this one.

I was telling my friend, this definitely trumps the 15 round shootout against the Caps.

Great game all around. Both goaltenders were beasts and made amazing saves to keep their teams in it. Amazing to see how the players were grinding through the 2nd and 3rd OT. Shots were less and less as the game went on and considering that the game was already very defensive in regulation, that didn't help.

Oh yeah, Nashville won too ;) Got on the board in that series, trailing 2-1 now. Rinne with the shutout and a dominating game.

Not talking about you guys of course. You're actually hockey fans. Most of my Philly friends from college didn't watch a single game of regular season hockey then trash talk during the playoffs.

Every town has their share of fair weather fans, and the Phillies ones are waaaay worse than the Flyers ones.

But what is up with people all of the sudden becoming Flyers experts the second April rolls around?

Then you try to talk hockey with em and they're all "Dude :eyebrow: baseball just started"

Just started it's 162 game season...:hiding: now shut up I am trying to watch hockey
