Just realized that my Martín B1-e fits the bill! (per the build sheet from Martin for my Serial Number anyway) 34.15" Scale.

Hey all, I am looking to purchase a 35" scale 4 string bass and tune it to C G C F (Drop C) tuning and I am having a hard time figuring out what string gauge and scale of strings I should get? For context, I looking to purchase a Warwick Taranis 4 in the coming month, and cant find accurate info for setting this baby up for Drop C. Any help is appreciated.

I've got a Dunable R2 DE tuned BEAD, and it is the only four banger I ever touch. I'm mainly a five string player but the R2 is being used more than it isn't. Three of my five string basses are 35" but I also have two Fenders which aren't. I love them all but the custom Thunderclapper I have on order is a five string. 35" scale, so I get to have my cake.

I searched for year for a BTB 1000. Found one a few weeks ago on GC Used and purchased it immediately. It is well played with a lot of wear, bumps and bruises, but nothing that takes away from the way this bass plays and sounds. It’s shaging (TB auto correct, can’t use the F word?) awesome! So glad to have it!

No need for a member number- just wanted to share my stoke.

First it's EADG. I bought it out of curiosity after finding out how great a 37" B string is (I also have a fan fret 34-37" Brice). A 35 inch E is also nice, and to be honest, I'm almost surprised it never became more common.

I'm happy enough with my 34" four stringers that I don't use this one much, but it IS a nice player.
