Desperately want to join your club. Looking at the schecter studio 8. Might have been in there somewhere, but any thoughts? Then again, if anyone wants to part with a certain distinctively shaped, German sounding name, expensive 8 string (preferably a jetglo), I have a newborn sun who is not that old and has all his shots.

Thanks, (with Nigel Tufnel accent). I invented that (I think).
Yamaha did something like that a few years later.
Currently, I think Status and one or two others offer a (single side) variant.

I'm #36!
Its short-scale and the body is thinner than typical so it only weighs 16lbs.

Good eye! Those are Fender Bullets. (Can’t remember why I used them).

I got my bass today. A Waterstone TP-8 in Natural.
It sadly, was damaged in shipping.
Fortunately, Waterstone Musical Instruments gave me some of the finest customer service imaginable! They will take care of any problems quicker than you can say boo. I'm happy.
I'm going to take it out to Mike Lull for some diagnosis & tweaking.
Probably have a new nut cut and a Plek job. The crunched bit, I'll probably use my Stew Mac sanding pads to smooth out a tad and touch it up with some Instrument Lacquer I have. I guess I've got a jump on my relicing....haha.

Sucks about the shipping damage. Thankfully, my TP-12 arrived through the mail unscathed. I was worried for a while, because it took a couple of weeks to make it to Canada from the USA. Had to glue/file the nut on it. Mine could use a good Pleking too....

Gorgeous Waterstone TP 8 string! I want one in blue pearloid, but that natural finish has me thinking!!!
