the Official Ampeg Club Part 5

Here is my 2007 SVT rig along with my 2014 212AV with classic grill cloth.

Since Mar 2014. I only play it at home a few hrs a day 3 or 4 times a week.

They only made them in 2013, correct? Maybe the store you bought it from had it on the floor being used and abused by hack bass players? That's sucks you have to go through this because I have heard nothing but amazing reviews on the heritage. Only option is to call Ampeg to notify them and take it to the shop 1.5 hours away.

It was built in 18 Feb 14 as the hang tag reads. I bought it from Sweetwaters in a sealed box.

The Heritage SVT's have been made continuously since 2010.

I still think it's a power tube that went ka-flooey. They can still light up even if they quit working and the bias lights going wonky indicates to me there's something going on. However, I could be wrong, and calling Ampeg on Monday is your best course of action.
