I love to visit Canada. Toronto is one of my favorite cities - right up there with San Francisco. You Great White guys keep sayin' "eh," and keep the Labatt Blue comin' (contrary to a previous post, Canadian beer is great, IMO)! BTW, anybody familiar with the band Hope? We met them this summer on the Warped tour. They're from New Brunswick. What a great bunch of guys. I'm gonna go have another LaBatt right now in their honor.

- I've been playing bass for 1 years and counting,
- I have a Yorkville amp,
- I don't say "eh?" at the end of some sentences,
- My favourite team is the Calgary Flames,
- I go to Toronto almost every week (but lately, though saturday I need to buy strings)
but most importantly...

"I AM CANADIAN!!!"

I live in Ottawa (that's the capital, eh, not Toronto),
- I've been playing electric bass for 9 years or so (upright for 4 months),
- I have Ampeg and Trace Elliot amps,
- I do say "eh?" at the end of more sentences than I realize,
- My favourite team is the Toronto Maple Leafs *dodges rotten vegetables*,
- I played hockey for 6 years, but I don't know Office Glen.
- I thought the "Jacques and William" beer ads were cool. What happened to those, eh?

A co-worker of mine has a Canadian girlfriend. Amazing how they get along, I mean, I fart better English than he speaks. I had a Canadian girl in my high scool for a year. She had the biggest, eh, hairband I've ever seen. Anyway, I like Canada. I especially like how you all look like trash cans LOLOLOL.

I'm in Ottawa now, I used to be in Cobourg but it was just too close to Toronto, I kept hearing them whining about the officiating even an hour away :D
This is the year for the Sens, just wait...

I say 'eh' a whole lot more often than anybody else I've ever met, and am proud of it. At the end of sentences, in the middle, as a whole sentence, it doesn't matter.

I routinely drink 20 of our Canadian beers and consider it to be a light night (that equals 43 Bud's I think).

I've never played organized hockey but I have enough informal outdoor rink experience to hold my own against those who have. There are two outdoor rinks within 5 minutes walk from my apartment.

I at least used to have a Canadian made Yorkville.

And I AM willing to pay taxes for the extra things like our health care, I've made more than enough use out of it with all my sports injuries, but now I've found bass...

Oh yeah, and the Sens beat the leafs last night (again) ;)

Toronto is not really Canada. You have to go to some of the remote places where everybody owns a ski-doo, nobody's afraid of bears, and the grandmas know how to cook racoon. Then you'll experience Canada.

- Anyway, I'm in Toronto.
- I say "eh" when needed.
- I've only ever owned Yorkville amps.
- I converted from guitar two years ago.
- I'm a Leafs fan.

I dunno about that... the logistics may prove too difficult. Heck, I've been trying to get together with the elusive SMASH, who lives 20 minutes from me, for the past 2 months! ;) I don't think he's real.

(I think I'd have a better chance at making an appointment with, and seeing Saddam Hussein.)

Also, errr...
- I say "Zed" and not "Zee"
- I like money that looks like Monopoly money (even if it isn't worth all that much more)
- I played through a Yorkville in high school... does that count?
- oh wait, I play a Godin bass. That's Canadian!
- I want Don Cherry to be our next PM (the hockey guru, not the trumpeter)

My high school gym class went curling a few times back in the day, it's actually incredibly hard to do despite how easy it looks.

I've also watched live curling, (yes, in the stadium) and it can get pretty intense at times. I guess if it's the only thing on when it all comes down to it at least we can watch some sport played on ice.
